Shinagawa Refractories Australasia operate an in-house pilot plant where new and improved materials are trialed and tested. Also featuring a fully staffed and equipt laboratory with both room and high temperature testing equipment.

Shinagawa have access to technology from its parent company, Shinagawa Refractories of Japan as well as technical exchange agreements with a variety of refractory manufacturers from around the world.
